downward onto trodden soil - as

a fire on the side of an
unfamiliar mountain
Foreign serenity
Heavy lids soon take effect
A light at dusk on
tattered sheets
a companion lost

came bubbling
out of the ground

The Shape

Pt. 1
And in our waiting, impatiently
- a narrow valley split
her rocks came bouldering
-A distant shape, thin
and uncanny
-walking towards the shallow creek
on the way to where she's going.
Pt. 2
The shape arrived
and laughed a promising laugh
She said: "do not be afraid"
The place that she arrived -
sighed a worried sigh
it said: "what's that still in the distance?"
The shape then took a form -
familiar to the place:
a house, a loft, it's white wooden porch
And so the place and her shape
grew bold by the creek
the distance still covered by fog
the water from the air- kept carrying its sigh
until finally it all evaporated
