nil_zen is an electro-acoustic music project from the UK, currently based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
This piece is an experiment in the amplification and manipulation of sounds influenced by the works of Steve Roden.
Tape speeds of the percussive elements were manipulated in an effort to create a hazy, dreamlike melody contrasting the subtle yet uneasy sounds of urban field recordings.
